my horizons are no longer above the sea
below the surface
the storm has gone for me
adrift in the ebb and flow and the undertow
in the quiet hand of the sea
the waves wash over me
and still i cling to her
her memory, my only comfort
for my eyes no longer see
gazing to the depths in regret
i never should have left the other half of me
my tears fade in the ocean
the sorrow of a million lost souls
in the quiet of the sea

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-))
As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing! Carsten Pieper
